Ara Lumiere invests in female solidarity

Ara Lumiere merges creativity with altruism. The Indiamo brand creates handmade head accessories by women who survived the acid attack. The entrepreneur and philanthropist founded the brand Kulsum Shadab Wahab. “ Each headdress is a personal expression of the ideas and beliefs of these women ”, declares the designer who intends to give each piece a unique story. Currently the brand employs 11 survivors who work on seams and 7 on embellishments, using high quality materials from all over the world. The latest collection by Ara Lumiere is titled ‘ Renaissance de la fleur ’ and uses that it uses a fallen flora that is collected by hand, pressed and used as an embellishment for pins and pins.
